Lazada Payment Method in the Philippines why PayPal Option Stopped

Lazada payment method for online shopping can become more convenient if there are many options to pay the products we bought. One of the Lazada payment method is PayPal (my favorite payment option when shopping online).

Yes, it is true that my favorite lazada payment method is PayPal. However, Lazada online shopping stopped PayPal. I noticed that when I am confirm my purchase and ready to pay for it. Paypal payment method are not there. I tried to send a message to Lazada customer care and here is what they replied;

“Starting December 22, 2018. We are sorry but we will no longer offer payment method via PayPal. For your reference you may choose other payment options…”

I don’t know the reasons why PayPal payment method in Lazada has stopped. Maybe, Lazada don’t want any hassle when receiving payment especially when order was bought through PayPal and cancelled because of “out of stocks”.

Here is my experience paying items in Lazada via Paypal and cancelled because of “out f stocks”.

Dear Gilbert  ,
We would like to inform you that the refund amount of ₱940.00 for your item(s) listed below from order #213932943025160 has been processed.

Reversal of the amount may take 1 to 2 billing cycles or 5 to 15 banking days for local credit cards, and up to 45 banking days for international credit and debit cards, depending on the bank’s process time.

Reversal of Paypal balance may take 1 to 3 business days.

Lazada Payment Method

I am quiet disappointed because my earning online will receive via Paypal and use them to buy items online especially in Lazada. However, there are payment options or alternatives aside from paying via Paypal.

So, what are the Lazada Payment Method anyway?

1. Lazada E Wallet

I may way use Lazada e wallet for convenient online shopping. What should I do now?  I will top up my Lazada e wallet through bank account like BPI, Metro Bank and BDO. I can also top up my Lazada e wallet using over the counter outlets such as 7-eleven, True Money, SM bills payment, M Lhuillier.

2. Cash on Delivery

If the item in Lazada cash on delivery not available, just use other ways to pay for it. You can use credit card or debit card. To know if the Lazada item is available for cash on delivery in your areas, just check the item and look for “cash on delivery”.

3. Credit Card or Debit Card

If you have a credit card or debit car (preferable). Debit card, just deposit funds in your debit card and use them as your Lazada payment method. You need to use your debit card number together with the CVV (at the back).

How to avail installment in lazada without credit card? Just use cash on delivery, Lazada e wallet or your can use BDO installment.

4. Philippine PayPal accounts (stopped)

You can also use BDO Installment as your payment method in Lazada online shopping. I prefer PayPal, since it stopped, now I will use Lazada wallet. If the payment was pending in Lazada, that means you did not pay for it. You can cancel your order anytime.
