We prefer blue chip stocks. In USA, the blue chip stocks are also the stocks listed in Dow Jones Industrial Average, if you don’t know which stocks to buy, you might also want to choose some of these stocks.

Characteristics of Blue Chip Stocks

Many investors choose to buy blue chip stocks, because of their market capitalization worth billions, stability and less volatile investment.

The stocks under Dow Jones Industrial Average are American Express, 3M, Apple Inc., Boeing, Caterpillar, Chevron, Cisco, Coca-Cola, Disney,  I du Pont de Nemours and Co, Exxon Mobil, General electric, Goldman Sachs,  Home Depot, IBM, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, McDonald’s, Merck, Microsoft and Nike.

Other stocks are JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Nike, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Travelers Companies Inc., United Technologies, United Health, Verizon, Visa and Wal-Mart.

Is it Good to Buy Blue Chip Stocks?

It is your own decision whether you will choose some of this stocks to include in your portfolio. It will be a good decision if you will buy stocks in different industry and related to the company that you really know or familiar with the products, services and management system.
