Here are the ways on how to avoid getting involved in money scandals whether you’re a government officials, church administration, or a famous athletes or committee in any sports game. I am very interested to share my point of views about financial scandals.
Many people believe in the old quote “money is the root of all evil”. This may be true if they put money in their hearts and mind without knowing the bad effects of it.
I don’t want to mentioned a politicians nor anyone (for legal purposes). Almost any countries have this kind of issues, a corruption. Why do other people getting involved in money scandals. Here are the few of those reasons;
- They are not well compensated
- They are not satisfied
- They are not contented
- They are addicted to money
Maybe they want to buy the things they really want. A luxury cars, luxury houses, yacht, grand vacations, private planes, women, etc. They have a lot of reason sometimes other people even though they are inside the church or in the government involved in money laundering.
They don’t understand what the bible says about money. In Matthew 6:19-21, this is what written;
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

And in the book of 1 Timothy 6:10, this is what written;
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

See? Money is not the root of all evil. The love of money is. If people are satisfied with enough money, they will never become involve in any money scandals.
If you are in the government; make sure the taxes of every citizens will be use according to its purpose not in your own pocket. Example, you can use taxes by building schools and hospitals or even a charity. Second, you can use it for medical purposes like buying medicines. Another is to use it when calamity arises.
Should you use the government funds in your own advantage? The answer is a big no. It is a form of money laundering. Use your own money when you are making a political campaign.
Should you use government funds to build roads, hospitals, schools and other important establishments for your citizens? Yes of course, but you don’t have the right to put your name in every hospitals just to tell people you build it. You are making your people an idiot. You use their money and wants to prove them you use your own money to build something for them.
Ways to Avoid Getting Involved in Money Scandals
- Be honest and trustworthy.
- Spend money not for your own sake
- Track your expenses and show them to people
- Do not be ambitious to become a billionaire when you’re in politics.
- Remember, if you want to get great wealth, build it slowly with integrity.
