Best Mutual Funds Companies in the Philippines 2014

Many of the investors or want-to-be mutual fund investors, are looking for the best opportunities on how to make their money grow instead of investing in direct stocks by themselves, that’s why they choose mutual fund investing, even though there are fees, sales load, annual fee etc., for me it is still good to invest in mutual funds because someone is investing my money for me, all I have to do is to put money in their funds, and the fund manager will do the investing. The fund managers of mutual funds are experts, therefore I shouldn’t have to worry about my money or the market situation.

The important thing about mutual fund investing is to “let the fund manager do the investing”, leave the job to the fund manager, it is not your job, your job is to add funds. Keep on investing in mutual funds whether you do it monthly (peso cost averaging) or lump sum investing. Just make additional investments, and let the time answer your doubt how mutual fund can grow your money in many years to come. See how much money you will have when you invest P2,500 monthly. Our articles at “future value of P2,500 per month”.

 Do you have any idea, what is a mutual fund?

As for all we know, a mutual fund is somewhat the simplest way to invest your hard earned money to a very well diversified portfolio. If you have a mutual fund, it just simply means you have additional “paper asset”, where in you invest money to make money. A “funds”, are the pooled money (pinagtipon-tipon na salapi) of the many investors and invest this funds in the stock market, bonds, or a combination of stocks and bonds and other assets.
A basic guide in investing in the Philippine mutual fund companies will help you how to do it by yourself.
When investing in mutual funds, you should set a goal (actually not just in investing in mutual funds), you should have a goal why do you want to invest, some goal to take into consideration are;
  • How much you are willing to invest?
  • When is your plan to redeem your funds?
  • Which mutual fund companies is the best for you/
  • Which mutual funds suit your investing needs? (equity funds, balanced, fixed etc)
  • What is the purpose of the money itself? (for retirement, kids education, a house, a grand vacation)
