Microsoft Email Scams – Beware of Microsoft Sweepstakes

Learn from this Microsoft email scams. Do you received email about  Microsoft E-mail Electronic Online Sweepstakes? You can win as much as five million UK sterling pound (just in case this is true). Or this email is just like Toyota London UK with a Cash Prize of 1.6M Sterling Pound, or the same as United Nation and World Bank 2.3 Million Dollar Award.While I am checking my email today May 17, 2015 Sunday (PH Time). In my spam folder there is an interesting subject about my winning in  Microsoft E-mail Electronic Online Sweepstakes.Duhh?

  • Subject: CONGRATULATION’S !!!! YOUR EMAIL WON £950,000.00
  • Sender: ddliij@microsoft.com
  • Email Received On: May 7, 2015 (9:12 am)

I do know well Microsoft and the CEO. First, I write topics about the company, its stock price and about Bill Gates. How I wish I really won at least one these prizes;

  • 1st. £5,000,000.00 GBP
  • 2nd. £2,000,000.00 GBP
  • 3rd. £1,000,000.00 GBP
  • 4th. £450,000.00 GBP

But, the problem is this just another Microsoft email scams. I am interested in the email message. I opened it, analyze and read what is written. I also read the attach email.

What can you say? Here’s the message in the attachment. The attachment was in PDF file, I opened it read it twice. Sad to say, this scammer use the name of other people like Owen Sagness and Dr. Steven Sandler.

In the said file, Owen Sagness is known as the “Managing Director,Microsoft® UK and Vice President, Microsoft International” and Dr. Steven Sandler is known as the General Manager, Online Division.

  3. If these scammers spent half the time they do scamming they could get a REAL job!
    The hook is the courier service. In any real sweepstakes you will pay NOTHING to receive the winnings. State this in a return e mail and you’ll never hear back from them!
